Vanessa Nunes is from Teresina, Piauí, Brazil. Ballerina, choreographer, dance teacher and student of Social Sciences at the State University of Piauí. She was a resident artist at the Campo Arte Contemporânea space in Teresina-PI (Brazil), managed by choreographer Marcelo Evelin (Demolition Incorporada) and producer Regina Veloso in Teresina-PI. Space in which she found the freedom to immerse herself in her own concerns and artistic productions. Vanessa Nunes is a young creator and has been closely related to the visual arts in an attempt to better understand the poetic-aesthetic layer existing in her dance desires. She worked as a dancer in a local dance company, Balé da Cidade de Teresina where she was able to deepen studies of dance techniques.
